I just love this show!  These dancers have a place to showcase their hard work and their passion. They inspire me.

Zack Woodlee!

Meet Zach Woodlee, celebrity choreographer and mentor on The Glee Project.
Mesquite boy makes good!  How cool is it, that Zach is the son of my daughter's childhood dance teacher. You know how boring dance recitals can be when your child is not on stage, well Zach would perform during these recitals and you could just feel he was special, that he had big talent.  I am so excited to watch him work with the contestants on The Glee Project! 

Precious Pup!

When you think about it, isn't it funny that we invite animals into to our homes to live with us.  Sleep with us.  Eat with us. Play with us.  We develop such a relationship with them, they are a part of our families.This is my daughter's dog, Rockie.  they have an amazing connection.  We love her so much!

She can pick out at least 20 toys by name!  My daughter loves her like crazy!  She makes us so happy...........

Just Flowers!

The older I get, the more I appreciate the beauty of simple things.  I especially am drawn to birds, trees and flowers.  They just make me happy!

Recycling Day!

My city is recycling e-waste today!  I am getting rid of 2 TVs and a computer, YAY!  Plus, a big bag of  papers to be shredded-this makes me happy!

Hunger Games Take Me Away!



         OK, I'll admit it, I read for fun.  I don't read to learn any great lessons, or to have an "aha" moment ( I have plenty of those at work).  I read to be taken away from stress, worries and everyday life!  In the past couple of years, I have been engrossed in the Twilight series ( I'm in my 50's!), the Sookie Stackhouse novels ( sexy vampires and wearwolves-oh my) and now Hunger Games.  I can't put the series down ( me and every other 16 year-old girl!)  So, no apologies, just thanks for these great take me away novels!

How lucky am I to have the most wonderful daughter.  She is smart and funny.  She is very responsible and cares about her job and doing the best she can.  She is sweet and tenderhearted.  She is truly my best friend, I love her so much! She has kindly allowed me to plan her wedding and it has been a JOY!

The ceremony music will be performed by a live violin and guitar duo playing all Beatles love songs. It will be fun lively and upbeat.

The brides uncle will be the officiant- he was ordained on line!  That will make it all the more special. I know a good time will be had by all!

I am obsessed with these birds!

What is it about these little birds that I love so much?  Could it be the colors or is it the crazy way they look at you?  Not sure, but they make me so happy!
